Service Description

The initial evaluation will be 90-120 minutes of one-on-one, undivided attention from Montana Rhoden, PT, DPT, CSCS. The evaluation will take place at a destination that is most optimal for you, as agreed upon during the consultation (e.g. online video conference, your house, or climbing gym). The initial evaluation starts with a discussion about your injury history, training history, current training status, and training goals. Based on your goals, we may perform a battery of mobility, strength, power and/or endurance tests. These assessments will provide clear, objective measurements that we can utilize to track your progress. Together, we will then develop an action plan to start working towards your goals. Remaining time will be utilized to provide instruction/guidance as necessary. Follow-up sessions are recommended for those seeking one-on-one instruction or guidance in: - Proper resistance training exercise technique (e.g. for barbell bench press, barbell high-bar squat, barbell deadlift, and other worthwhile exercises) - Proper gym etiquette and general safety considerations - Application of auto-regulation in your training sessions - Application of strength and conditioning principles and basics of program design - Utilization of climbing-specific equipment
