Frequently Asked Questions

I’m not a rock climber, can I still see you for physical therapy?

Absolutely! If you are hesitant or unsure if Redpoint Physical Therapy and Performance is right for you, please book a free consultation - if physical therapy is recommended and I have the skillset for your pain/injury, I'd love to help!

Can I see you without a referral from a medical doctor?

Yes! In the state of Oregon, individuals are allowed to see a doctor of physical therapy directly, without a referral from a medical doctor. Furthermore, for the majority of musculoskeletal conditions, medical doctors refer out to physical therapy anyway - save yourself the time and money!

What are your rates/fees?

Please refer to the Services page. If you are in financial strain, please do not hesitate to bring this up during the initial (free) consultation. I may be able to offer discounted services.

Do you accept insurance?

No. It’s important to me that I do the best job possible helping you reach your goals, which means eliminating insurer decision-making in your care. Ultimately, this option saves money for most people as it reduces unnecessary spending and affords the ability to care for my clients more closely. I do accept cash, check, and credit. For physical therapy services, I also accept FSA and HSA cards.

What types of injuries do you treat?

I can help you with anything related to the musculoskeletal and neuromuscular systems. This includes conditions related to joints, muscles, tendons, nerves, and ligaments. My clinical background is primarily related to orthopedics, post-concussive syndrome, and persistent pain. I am committed to becoming a lifetime learner in the treatment and management of climbing related injuries.
